Fun at Mantachie Fest

Kaylee Beth and Breanna Dodson, raincoat-wearing chihuahua in tow, brave the rain at last weekend’s Mantachie Fest. Despite rainfall that constantly fluctuated between drizzle and downpour, Mantachie Fest carried on as normal, with many area residents, umbrellas in hand, shrugging off the weather in favor of a good time. Although this year’s event didn’t pack quite as many people into the town park as in year’s past, it was still a good showing for the decades-old festival, with music, food and even a game or two.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a week in New York City. I'll be offline from September 7th - 14th. It's been a busy few weeks especially with the end of summer and the start of the new school year. Kayleebeth managed to fit in some quality time with her friends including a trip to ice rink for her first time ice skating session. She took to the ice with her friends Elise, Bailey and Brittney. Plus, there are some new photos from Kayleebeth's summer vacation back home in Missippi which looks like it was a great lot of fun.

Oakwood Pool Party

Summer has come to end and what better way to farewell it then having a pool party. Kayleebeth and friends attended the Oakwood End of Summer Pool Party. They swam lots, danced by poolside and had lots of laughs.
